We have access to an S3 cloud on DigitalOcean.

We may wish to migrate some data there, such as media and the like. It would keep the DBs from filling up, and we would not have to purge older data as often.

Agreed -- though the DB isn't taking up space, mostly the media cache (just to clarify).
