clang becomes confused trying to determine which vm_distance_squared
constructor to use for a literal input of 0x7fffffffffffffff, even
though the size of the input requires it to be `long` and only one
constructor can take a `long`. Switch from an explicit
0x7fffffffffffffff to the symbolic constant INT64_MAX, which has the
same value, but a platform-appropriate suffix to force the compiler to
pick the right type.
For general clarity, switch some other instances of integer maximum
literals to symbolic constants of the same value.
This commit has no effect on the generated code (except for changes to
line numbers).

Fixes: 17208cca79 ("Disallow int for vm_distance_squared")
Macro LINE_SPACING previously used global grd_curcanv implicitly.
Change it to take a canvas argument. Change all callers to pass
grd_curcanv, so that usage is explicit.
This allows the player to press a movement key to respawn after death, and the same keypress will cause the ship to move. Now this works with the option 'when dead, respawn by pressing any key' as well as 'when dead, respawn by pressing the Fire key'.
Kreator proposed restoring the Descent 2 cheat that grants homing
capability to all weapons. This commit implements that proposition,
with some changes to the implementation details.

Typing "BALDGUY" after enabling cheats will activate the 'baldguy' easter egg for D1X-Rebirth, which will show next time a briefing is shown featuring Dravis (Mac D1 data only). As with the original, it just plays the 'Cheater!' sound with no HUD message.
Replace call to window_close(Game_wind) with returning window_event_result::close to game_handler. Applies to whenever newdemo_stop_playback() is called. Closing a window within its handler is problematic - it can result in an unstable state.
Replace calls to window_close(Game_wind) with returning window_event_result::close to game handler. Applies to when DoEndGame() is called, DoGameOver() is called, aborting in the kmatrix screen (multiplayer game) during AdvanceLevel() and playing one demo frame causes playback to stop in GameProcessFrame(). Closing a window within its handler is problematic - it can result in an unstable state.
Demos do not record difficulty level or track hostages correctly. Do
not show these fields in the demo pause dialog, since they reflect
the state of the player's last played game, not the state of the player
recording the demo.
This code has been #ifdef'd out since 2002, relied on implicit-int in
its declaration (deprecated in C, forbidden in C++), and has been broken
for years due to vms_vector changes. Remove it.
This preserves virtually all game information, including active fire. The saved game 'gamesave.sge' can also be loaded with File->Restore Game State. The level can still be saved as usual (but it warns the user if there's an unsaved game state). This functionality may be useful for testing (or cheating! ;) )
If a game was playing, continue playing. If it was in the main menu, return to the main menu. (If all files are put in place the editor can load again.)
Replace delete dcx::window kludge with a better solution: instead of requiring every handler to delete the window, add a window_event_result::deleted, which gets returned if the window was deleted by the handler, so window_close knows not to attempt to delete it again.
Allow dcx::window struct to be subclassed step 3. This step adds the window destructor and both requires and implements the window to be deleted by the event handler/client in all cases.
